“Academy Days” information session to make a stop in Mercer County

U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito announces she will host four “Academy Days” this fall for West Virginia students interested in learning more about admission to U.S. service academies and available ROTC scholarships. 

Members of Senator Capito’s staff will be available at each event to provide information on nominations to the Air Force, Military/Army, Naval, and Merchant Marine. A nomination is not required for the Coast Guard Academy. 

Service academy admissions representatives will be available to answer questions, and information about local ROTC scholarship programs will be available. 

The event is coming to Mercer County’s Pikeview High School at 2 p.m. this Sunday, September 22.
