WASHINGTON D.C. - U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito is tackling organized crime and opioids during a forum discussion in Washington D.C.
The live streamed event was hosted by the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy and the Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies. Experts on the subject discussed how to reduce and manage public safety problems across the nation especially in regards to the opioid crisis.
"We enlisted each other to try to work on the preventive. To stop the flow of drugs. Hopefully we'll be able to meet the challenges of the terrible opioid problem that we're seeing and I found some new partners today," shared Senator Capito.
