The Trump Administration approved disaster declarations for a number of counties impacted by recent flooding.
The declaration approved Individual Assistance for McDowell, Mercer, Mingo, Raleigh and Wyoming counties, as well as Public Assistance for Boone, Greenbrier, Lincoln, Logan, McDowell, Mercer, Mingo, Monroe, Raleigh, Summers, Wayne, and Wyoming counties.
The IA Program provides funds to individuals experiencing significant damage to homes or property. The PA provides supplemental grants to state and local governments and certain private non-profits to cover their costs for debris removal, emergency protective measures, and infrastructure restoration.
