WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today U.S. Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) announced that the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will award $1,314,440 to the Lincoln County Primary Care Center. This funding will help to support health care operations and expanding access to care.

“Community health centers like Lincoln County Primary Care Center provide essential services that many West Virginians rely on every day,” Senator Capito said. “I am thrilled that this funding has been awarded to the facility so they can continue accessing the resources necessary to provide services West Virginians need to live healthy lives.”

“This funding will help strengthen health care for patients and provide quality, affordable services. Our health centers play an important role in keeping our children, families and seniors healthy, and we want to do all we can so West Virginians are able to have access to health centers across the state – especially in our rural areas,” Senator Manchin said.
