WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), Ranking Member of the Senate Appropriations Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Subcommittee, today announced $190,650 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to support the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) partnership program through the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR).
“West Virginians rely on our first responders in moments of crisis – especially when children are in need of emergency medical services. I’m proud to secure funding that will improve our state’s ability to respond when our children need it the most,” Ranking Member Capito said.
