WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) today announced $1,298,017 in federal funding for improvements at Huntington Tri-State Airport/Milton J. Ferguson Field. The funding, awarded by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), will be used for apron rehabilitation.
“As a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, I worked to secure funding for critical infrastructure projects, including keeping our airports safe and accessible. The rehabilitation project made possible by this grant funding will benefit pilots, passengers and businesses, and will help lay the foundation for future economic growth,” said Senator Capito.
