WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced a $291,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Grant Program for the Hardy County Public Service District. The grant will specifically be used to construct new facilities for Water and Waste Disposal offices in Moorefield, W.Va. after previous accommodations were seriously damaged by floods in June 2018.

“I am happy to see the Hardy County Public Service District receive these resources to help address damage caused by flooding,” Senator Capito said. “The funding from the USDA will help Hardy County to reliably meet the water needs of its constituents.”
