MADISON, W.VA. – U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito today released the following statement regarding the Boone County Ambulance Authority receiving a $1.86 million loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Program:
“It is extremely important that our local first responders have the tools and training needed to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations. These brave men and women save lives, keep our communities safe and put their own health and safety on the line. This loan will enable the Boone County Ambulance Authority to upgrade its resources and continue to keep the community safe.”
