WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), members of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced $1,300,000 in Paul Bruhn Historic Revitalization Grants to foster economic development and support the preservation of historic buildings in West Virginia.
“West Virginia has a heritage that we are incredibly proud of,” Senator Capito said. “That’s why it’s important that we do all we can to preserve and maintain the places that make up our heritage, history, and traditions so future generations can cherish them. I’m glad to see the National Park Service making these investments, which are critical to the preservation of our communities so West Virginians will be able to enjoy for years to come.”
