WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), both members of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced $4,778,562 from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for several projects across West Virginia.

“It’s great to see the National Science Foundation once again investing into programs that advance important research initiatives in West Virginia,” Senator Capito said. “These projects will move important work forward at West Virginia University, the University of Charleston, Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, Mountwest Community and Technical College, and Bridgeville Community and Technical College, which will help to create unique and beneficial opportunities for our students. I will continue to advocate of the funding our institutions need to make a larger impact.”
