WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), members of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced a grant of $434,180 to support Marshall University’s Allergy, Immunology, and Transplantation Research. Funding is provided by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

“Across West Virginia, our universities are known for their exceptional research capabilities,” Senator Capito said.” This funding will help support Marshall University’s Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and further our understanding in the field of Immunology. I am proud of Marshall University’s research efforts and the positive impact they create in our state. This is a wonderful investment into West Virginia, and I thank DHHS for their continued support.”
