WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R.-W.Va.) today issued the following statement following her meeting with members of the Robert C. Byrd Corridor H Authority:
“It was a pleasure meeting with members of the Robert C. Byrd Corridor H Authority today. We discussed the importance of a long-term surface transportation reauthorization bill and our shared commitment to completing Corridor H. West Virginia cannot afford further delays on this significant project that promises to unleash the economic potential of our state’s Eastern Highlands. In order to move our transportation system forward, we must provide the resources and certainty that accompany a long-term federal highway bill.”
