“The American people made a clear statement in November by electing President Trump to the White House and Republican majorities in both the Senate and the House. They want to see real action. By passing this budget resolution, the Senate is doing just that. It’s an essential step forward toward securing the border, bolstering our national defense, and unleashing American energy— all key issues President Trump campaigned on. I was proud to vote in favor of this resolution that will help us achieve success and deliver on these promises made to the American people, for the president’s agenda, and for this country.”
The FY 2025 budget resolution is the blueprint for a fully paid for reconciliation bill to secure the border, bolster our military, and unleash American energy.
