HICO, W.Va. – U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) today visited Hico, W.Va. to meet with company leadership and tour the facilities at Gainwell Engineering, a mining equipment company.
“Today was yet another sign that West Virginia is open for business,” Senator Capito said. “Gainwell is a great example of an international company that was looking to expand its operations here in America and chose our state. It was a pleasure to tour the facilities and visit with Jason Sizemore and the rest of the team today, and learn about the impact this employer will have here in Fayette County for years to come.”
Headquartered in India, Gainwell Engineering is an international company that chose Fayette County as its new location for mining equipment-related sales and repair in North America. The company hopes to employ in excess of 40 people at this facility in the next three years. Gainwell’s general manager for U.S. operations is Jason Sizemore, a native of Fayetteville, W.Va.
