WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.)—a member of the Senate Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, Innovation, and the Internet—today participated in a hearing on ways to effectively and efficiently address broadband deployment. During the hearing, titled “Rebuilding Infrastructure in America: Investing in Next Generation Broadband,” Senator Capito spoke with witnesses about the need to improve access to rural broadband, critical services like telemedicine, and accurate data, as well as how solutions like her GO Act can help.
